Role:
- The role is to lead the design, development, communication, implementation, and administration of
the organization’s benefit, compensation and incentives plans;
- The C&B Manager is responsible for aligning reward systems with business goals and enhancing the
organization’s ability to attract, retain, and reward high performing employees;
- Responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in
compliance with company policies and government regulations;
- Serve as a subject matter expert and a point of contact to HR business partners and the management
team.
Responsibilities:
40% Compensation &Benefits strategy and policies
- Manage and implement the total compensation strategy assuring the company’s alignment with the
broader HR principles and considering local market specifics;
- Analyzes company compensation policies in relation to similar jobs in comparable industries or
geographic areas, and recommend changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive pay
rates and ensure equity;
- Perform benchmarking of employees' compensation against relevant surveys in the region and
propose appropriate actions;
- Collaborate with benefit providers to properly structure the various benefit plans including medical,
life and travel insurance, sport, etc.
- Manage compensation & benefits team and daily operations related to compensation and benefits activities;
40% Budget management
- Employment cost budget management;
- Propose and allocate appropriate budgets for the various C&B processes (salary review, variable pay, equity grants);
- Drive and support the year-end compensation process, ensuring consistent and fair decisions is made
in the promotion, bonus and salary increase processes;
- Develops pay systems that are industry competitive and enable management to focus on and reward
individual performance;
- Develops incentives scheme for the sales force in strong cooperation with the finance department
who is involved in targeting settings.
- Coordinate and implement recognition programs across the business
- Coordinate implementation and provide guidance to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy and job
evaluation;
- Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations
20% Compliance
- Ensure all comp&ben programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation and are
aligned with IPF group policies and procedures;
- Compare and evaluate present and potential compensation and benefit programs through research, surveys, and analysis of trends and regulations to ensure plans are current, competitive, legal, and strategically aligned;
Requirements:
- Strong expertise on reward and benefits, job grading, performance and bonus systems, salaries survey;
- Strong communication skills (both in English and Romanian), including the ability to speak and write clearly, succinctly and persuasively for a variety of audiences;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills including the ability to persuade others, tact and diplomacy;
- Business acumen, drive for results and integrity.
